Masats with inclusive sport

Masats sponsors the Ciutat de Gavà National Wheelchair Padel Open and organises an Inclusive Event.

Promoting inclusion and improving people’s quality of life through better mobility is fundamental for us.

Recently, we have become the main sponsor of the Ciutat de Gavà National Chair Padel Open 2024. The event organised by CEPA, (Club Esportiu de Pàdel Adaptat de Catalunya), took place at the Padelarium in Gavà on the 13th and 14th of April and was attended by 18 admirable couples who showed exceptional skills and also passion for this sport, as well as team spirit and self-improvement.

In addition, at Masats, we wanted to promote inclusion by going one step further, organising an inclusive event that consisted of an adapted paddle tennis tournament with Masats employees and people in wheelchairs. On Saturday 6th April at the RPàdel of Sant Fruitós, more than 20 matches were played between mixed teams made up of people from Masats and players from the Club Esportiu de Pàdel Adaptat. This event has strengthened community ties and raised awareness of the needs and challenges of people with reduced mobility.

By promoting sport and inclusive spaces for interaction, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to accessibility and equal opportunities for all people.
