New 028e 1-leaf sliding door: compact design, maximum flow

One of the products to be launched at Busworld is the new 028e single-leaf sliding door, a fast, compact and efficient system that optimises both access and passenger comfort.

The new system saves space, while offering wider and faster access for passengers.  It improves the interior space required, as well as the door’s tightness, improving comfort inside the vehicle.  It is a much lighter door – the weight of the system is reduced by up to 20% – which contributes to the energy efficiency of the bus.

The 028e is designed for high-frequency urban and intercity operations, where speed, safety and comfort make the difference.

It can optionally incorporate the PIS-L Information System, the LED passenger information system, which indicates when it is safe to board the vehicle, streamlining the flow of passengers and improving the quality of service.
