New ThyraLink communication system

Masats is presenting a communication system between passenger train door systems and platform door closing systems called ThyraLink.
This patent-pending communication system allows the implementation of an on-request immediate, delay-free open functionality for train access doors using open buttons. Plus, with ThyraLink, it’s possible to determine the operational status of doors before a train arrives at a station to give passengers on the train and on the platform advance notice of any access doors that are out of service.
The system is based on the use of wireless nodes installed inside the door mechanisms which are transparent to the door control units so they can be installed on most passenger train door and platform door mechanisms available on the market.
